PRINCESS OREO
The oldest member of our herd recently passed on. Oreo died on thursday June 11th. Oreo was about 40rys old. She spent the last eight years of her life at Blue Rider Stables. She was young at heart and loved the children who came to brush her, have a pony ride or a lesson. But she also used to be quite the rascal, she taught quite a few young riders how to sit on a bucking horse, taking any opportunity to take off that she could. At the same time she was given therapy duties which she managed expertly. She also was one of our biggest jumpers, as small as she may have been! She was loved by the children and the older riders a rose to any occasion given to her.
Oreo was a special member of our herd and will be dearly missed, although a small pony she had a big heart!
